I am writing a review on here to show my appreciation for the level of service that Sarah, Jonquil and Charmaine gave to my friends and I. There were very professional as employees and still very enjoyable to talk to as people. Thank you for the hospitality you all gave to me, my wife, and my friends. I will definitely refer you guys to who ever I know going to New Orleans.

While the location of the property was great in terms of being in the heart of South Beach, it was very noisy as well. The balcony was spacious and overlooked the South Beach comings and goings, which was interesting and there was a partially obstructed but nice view of the ocean during the day. However, Yourent.com the managing agency for the property dropped the ball a number of times. First, there was significant confusion regarding reservation of the property itself. I had chosen the penthouse unit and was later told that it was occupied during the stay -- even though VRBO indicated it was available. This was then changed over to another unit with in the same building. After this confusion, I was told by the manager there would be no further difficulties. Despite this, upon arriving at the location, The unit was dirty (i.e., I pulled clumps of hair and debris from the drain in the shower and there was debris on the floor and the floor was also sticky). There was a substanstial housekeeping fee associated with renting the property and this was not refunded, even after complaining about the experience. Additionally, there was valet parking for $25 but at the time of arrival in the evening; however, the street was too hectic to even pull into the valet parking area. Instead, I had to park at a garage a couple blocks away. The sign on the parking garage indicated $20 but under this was small print that said the $20 renews every five hours... This meant a substantial parking charge when retrieving my car later. We ended up checking out of the unit two days early and going to another property, which entailed spending extra money, of course, but it was not worth staying at this property any longer. The place was also very noisy from other activities below. Upon contacting the manager about a week later (not wanting to be dragged through the mud further by complaining during the course of the vacation) I was told by the manager I did not complain at the time so there was nothing she could do (or was willing to do) other than offering a discount on a future stay with them, which I was obviously not interested in... I was not offered any sort of refund, even for the housekeeping charge. Additionally I was also not provided with an apology...
